Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026 · English only for now; other languages to follow.

These Terms govern your use of the Saluvia website and the facilitation service we provide ("Saluvia", "we", "us"). By submitting the assessment form or otherwise using our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Saluvia is

Saluvia is a healthcare facilitation and coordination service. We help patients in Europe connect with our partner hospitals in Turkey — American Hospital (Istanbul), Koç University Hospital (Istanbul), and Antalya Amerikan Hospital (Antalya), part of the Koç Healthcare network — and we act as the coordination point between you and the hospital's international patient team.

2. What Saluvia is not

  • We are not a medical provider. We do not give medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations, and nothing on this site is medical advice. All clinical assessment and treatment is provided by the partner hospital's own doctors.
  • We are not a travel agency. We do not book flights, hotels, or transfers. We may share informal suggestions, but any travel arrangements are your own responsibility.
  • We do not translate medical records. Where records are needed, you provide them in English.
  • We do not process payments for treatment. You contract and pay the hospital directly.

3. How the relationship works

When you submit an enquiry, we prepare and forward a referral to the appropriate partner hospital so their team can assess your request and prepare a treatment plan and cost estimate. Any medical care is provided under a direct agreement between you and the hospital; Saluvia is not a party to that agreement and carries no medical responsibility for it.

Communication with you is handled by email, in English. We do not conduct medical consultations by phone.

4. No cost to you for our service

Our facilitation service is free to you. You pay the hospital directly for treatment, at the same price as if you had approached the hospital yourself; Saluvia is compensated by the hospital, not by you.

One exception applies: where we publish rates for third-party accommodation, those rates include a service fee payable to Saluvia. See section 5.

5. Third-party accommodation and other recommendations

We may recommend accommodation or other services provided by third parties — for example a hotel near the treating hospital. Any booking and payment is made directly with that provider. Saluvia is not a party to that contract and is not liable for the provider's services, facilities, availability, or conduct.

Where we publish rates for a third-party provider, those rates include a service fee payable to Saluvia— the fee is part of the price you pay the provider, not something the provider pays us separately. Published rates are indicative, apply only to the periods and conditions stated alongside them, and remain subject to the provider's own terms and availability.

If you ask us to, a Saluvia coordinator will place the reservation with the provider on your behalf. Doing so does not make Saluvia a party to your booking: the contract and the payment remain between you and the provider, and Saluvia does not collect, hold, or process payment for accommodation. What we pass the provider in order to make that reservation is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. No guarantees

We facilitate access and coordinate communication; we cannot and do not guarantee any medical outcome, a specific treatment, a price, a timeframe, or that the hospital will accept your case. Waiting-time comparisons and similar information are provided for general guidance and may change.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and records (in English);
  • Make your own decisions about treatment and travel;
  • Use the service only for your own enquiry or one you are authorised to make on someone else's behalf.

8. Personal data

We handle your personal data — including health-related information — as described in our Privacy Policy, on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Saluvia is not liable for the medical assessment, treatment, acts, or omissions of the partner hospitals or their staff, nor for travel arrangements you make. Our role is limited to facilitation and coordination. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, contact us at info@saluviaglobal.com and we will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period. Complaints about medical care itself should be raised with the treating hospital; we will help you direct them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. For any question, contact info@saluviaglobal.com.
